I’m running for strong representation, financial accountability, better working conditions, and a union that works together.

A MESSAGE TO ALL UFLAC MEMBERS

Solutions.
Not division.

I still love this job. I believe I have more work to do for the people who work alongside me.

We need a seat at the table, a voice in the decisions affecting our members, and a plan for the future. Here is what I would fight for, how I would approach the work, and the answers to your questions.

MY COMMITMENTS

Your union. Your voice.
Your dues.

Clear priorities. Practical next steps.
A union that works for every member.

YOUR DUES01

Keep the safeguards.

Document expenses. Review spending. Hold everyone to the same standard.

What that means

A structured reimbursement and review process—not an assumption that software alone creates accountability.

YOUR REPRESENTATION02

Protect your rights.

Use direct dialogue when it works. Preserve contract enforcement and legal tools when they are needed.

What that means

Review the facts, protect due process, and address member issues without making arbitration our only play.

YOUR WORKING CONDITIONS03

A consistent staffing system.

Address Assign Hire, recall, qualified relief, dispatch practices, and workload together.

What that means

I oppose one-and-one staffing and want meaningful union involvement in staffing decisions.

MEMBERS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

Working conditions. Real representation.

Staffing shortages, mandatory work, fatigue, and the demands our jobs place on family life deserve attention. I want members’ concerns to be heard, contractual rights protected, and staffing issues addressed through the appropriate union process.

FF/PMs and FFs deserve meaningful opportunities to spend time on their Engines and Trucks, train with their companies, maintain fireside skills, and prepare for advancement. I want to hear how repeated Rescue and 800 details affect our members, and work toward thoughtful, equitable solutions that support readiness, professional development, and a healthier balance between the job and family life.

THE PEOPLE DOING THE WORK

Our job is demanding.
Our union should have our backs.

Staffing. Training. Equipment. Representation.
The priorities start with the people on the job.

THE WORK NEEDS A PLAN

A funding plan.
Not a funding slogan.

My commitment to members continues with or without passage of Measure FD.

Personnel, apparatus, and stations each need a realistic funding and implementation plan.

90DAYS

THE FIRST STEP IS A PLAN YOU CAN SEE

Defined objectives.
A schedule for reporting progress.

Within the first 90 days, I would aim to present a clear action plan. Some issues will take longer to resolve. Accountability should not.

PREPARATION / RESPONSIBILITY / FOLLOW-THROUGH

Preparation matters.
So does who stands beside you.

I’ve spent years teaching survival skills and helping firefighters prepare for difficult moments.

That commitment to preparation carries into how I want our union to work: clear responsibilities, fair standards, and support when members need it.
